Catherine is back in her skinny jeans
Catherine was motivated to join Closer Diets.com when she could no longer fit into her favourite skinny jeans. Determined to lose weight, Catherine set herself the challenge of fitting comfortably back into her size 10 jeans again. Following the Closer Diets plan helped Catherine to make healthier choices and get to grips with portion sizes. Now she is 2 stone 1 lb lighter and our fabulous new success story.
Catherine’s gorgeous figure has made a massive difference to how she views herself. She takes us through her weight loss journey…How was your weight affecting you?
I was getting close to a size 14 and my weight was 11 stone 8 lbs, this was the largest I’d ever been. I felt really unattractive. Not I am a size 8 top and bottom. I weigh 9 stone 7 lbs which I never thought I'd reach in a million years.What made you decide to join Closer Diets?
Two things happened in the same week and they acted as my turning point. After looking at holiday photos, I realised how fat and ugly I’d become. I was in denial about my size and kept trying to squeeze into size 10 trousers. When I went shopping for holiday clothes I realised the only trousers that fitted were size 14 and I simply refused to buy them. That was the moment I knew I needed to do something!Has your diet changed since joining the diet plan?
I ate chocolate just because I could and rather than eat 1 or 2 out of the box I would find myself eating half the box. My portions were enormous, since cutting down on them the food bill has halved. I now look for the low fat and low calorie food automatically and subconsciously avoid the unhealthy foods. The little devil that used to say “who cares” has diminished and I actually don’t feel like chocolates anymore.Has losing weight made any difference to your confidence levels?
Losing weight has made me feel more attractive and I no longer avoid looking in the mirror. I love that my favourite pair of knee high boots can zip right to the knee again and it feels amazing to wear my skinny jeans without feeling like my legs look like 100 year old tree trunk.Are you confident about maintaining your weight loss?
I continue to weigh myself regularly to make sure I haven’t changed. I can honestly say that I feel fuller on the diet that I did before.Have you any tips you would like to give other members?
